I would

Adoption Professionals:
My work in the field of adoption referral and networking started in 1999. I
have helped adoption agencies and attorneys by referring waiting families to
present to their birthmothers that have resulted in a successful placement.
As an adoption agency or attorney you will have access to all Heaven Sent
registered, homestudy ready adoptive families to assist your birthparent(s)
in locating the family for their child. When you are in need of adoptive
families for a situation you simply fill out the situation form with the
requested details. My office will filter through our registered clients and
then send appropriate family profiles to your office. We will handle all
postings, emails, mailings and phone calls during the presentation and
selection process. We will take care of the contact with all the presented
families until such time as a selection has been made; leaving your staff
more time to focus on the needs of your office and the birthmothers. Once a
match with a Heaven Sent family is made I would then put that selected family
in direct contact with you. The family will make all payments to your office,
including our fee. Our fee is then paid to us when the Heaven Sent family has
taken custody of their child and has a baby in their arms.
Prospective Adoptive Families:
I am not a facilitator or child placing agency. You will be matched and placed
through an attorney or agency that is licensed to place children for
adoption. We do not search for birthmothers; the attorneys and agencies that
I have referral agreements with handle the counseling and all legal work. You
must have a completed homestudy and need to fill out the on-line registration
completely for us to begin networking for you. We also request you send two
copies of your Dear Birthmom letter once your registration has been accepted.
When the agency or attorney presents a situation(s) to us, we go through our
registered client's and find several families that meet what the birthmom
request and agency/attorney requirements are. You would then be contacted
about the situation(s) and decide weather you want to be submitted. The
agency or attorney will present you with other families to the birthmother;
once she has made her selection you would then work directly with the agency
or attorney. All agency and attorney contact information is confidential. We
will handle all communication between the professional we refer you to and
yourself until you are matched with a situation. By registering with Heaven
Sent you are essentially registering with many agencies and attorney's - for
no application or retainer fees. Heaven Sent does not charge any registration
fees. Our referral & networking fee is paid to the attorney or agency
when they have made a successful placement and you have a baby in your arms.
If you are homestudy ready and are interested in expanding your search for a
child, please register, however be sure to fill out all requested information
or registration will not be accepted.
Because there is such a need for adoptive families for African American,
Biracial and special needs children, my heart is in these
placements and it is where I focus my efforts. I have special arrangements
with several attorneys and agencies for African American and Biracial
adoptions. I will work very hard to try to make agreements where you pay
nothing until a successful placement is made. There will be times where this
is not possible but know it is my desire to help you in this area.
When
registering for medical fragile special needs children please indicate in the
comments area –SPECIAL NEEDS. In these cases you will work more directly with
the profession from the start.
I also work with state agencies in helping to place their foster children
into adoptive homes. These are children that have been abused or neglected by
their biological family and have been removed from that situation. When I get
the referral these children are legally free for adoption and are just
waiting for their family. The fees for these situations are generally under
$2,000.00 and most or all of that expense is reimbursed to the adoptive
family. Because these are state agencies they are not able to collect a fee
for my service. I feel this is a ministry that God has given me in helping
these children find homes. If you are placed with a child through this program
I would be pleased if you could make a financial donation to Heaven Sent so I
may continue this work in this area.
Being the adoptive mom of two children, I personally know the emotional
struggles adoption can cause. I hope to be more than your networking service;
