Sent Adoption Services, Inc. is a non-profit licensed child
placing adoption agency in the State of Michigan. We provide education
and information to anyone seeking to learn more about direct placement
adoption in Michigan. We offer support services to expectant parents
considering adoption so they can make the most informed decision
possible. We offer resources and referrals for those who choose
to parent their baby. For expectant parents who choose to make an
adoption plan, we offer legal and emotional support, as well as
assistance in family selection and child placement processes. For
Michigan families seeking to adopt a child, Heaven Sent offers a
full range of services including but not limited to family assessment
(home study), counseling, placement and post-placement services.
Heaven Sent provides referral and networking with attorneys and
agencies all over the United States. Heaven Sent proudly serves
as a central database for families wishing to adopt Black American
and Biracial children.
Expectant Parents:
We
just want to thank you for even considering adoption for you and
your child. We know that this is one of the most difficult decisions
you will ever make. Before now you probably haven’t researched
adoption and in order to assist you with that decision we want to
offer you as much information and education about adoption as possible.
We want to help you make the best life commitment for you and your
child. We know you have many questions, many concerns and many fears.
It is our goal to support you whether you decide that parenting
or adoption is the best plan for you and your child. Our first concern
is support for you, you need to know that we support life.
For parents
living in Michigan we can offer a full range of face to face support.
We offer counseling, legal advice and information on the adoption
process. If you choose to make an adoption plan for your baby, we
will assist you in choosing the adoptive family that most closely
matches your desires for your child’s future. We will be able
to show you many different presentation letters which introduce
you to the families. You are able to choose telephone or face to
face meetings. We are here to help you feel confident in your decision
and in planning your child’s future.
For Expectant
parents living outside of Michigan, we are networked with many other
Christian Agencies and Attorneys, in order to give you the personal
support and time you need in this decision.

Referral Program:
Heaven Sent has been assisting attorneys and agencies in completing
families through adoption since 1999. As an adoption professional
you will have access to all Heaven Sent registered, home study ready
perspective adoptive families to assist your expectant parent(s)
in locating the family for their child. In order to utilize Heaven
Sent Adoption’s referral service, we need to have you contact
the office and establish a referral agreement. When registering
a family we receive a copy of their home study and also make a call
to the agency to be sure it is current. When you are in need of
perspective adoptive families for a situation you simply fill out
the situation in take form with the requested details. The Heaven
Sent office will search our registered client data base and then
send appropriate family profiles to your office. We will handle
all postings, emails, postal mailings and telephone calls during
the presentation and selection process. We will take care of the
contact with the presented families until a selection has been made.
Once your expectant parent is matched with a Heaven Sent family
we will then put only that selected family in direct contact with
you. This will leave your staff more time to focus on the needs
of your office and the expectant parents. The adoptive family will
make all payments to your office, including our referral fee. Our
fee is then paid to us by your office when the Heaven Sent family
has taken physical custody of their child and has a baby in their
arms.

Agency Services:
Families in Michigan who are interested in direct placement adoption
can receive full agency services from Heaven Sent. We provide adoptive
family assessment (home study) which includes counseling, pre- and
post-placement home visits and finalization. Basically, this means
we will handle all the legal paperwork and documentation for you.
Once you are home-study approved, we will present you to all expectant
parents who desire a family like yours for their child. These would
be not only expectant parents working directly with Heaven Sent
but also referrals from our many networking attorneys and agencies.
We also encourage you in searching for an Expectant Mother on your
own. Should you find a match for your family on your own, we are
happy to assist the Expectant Parent(s) with counseling and support.
We can also assist them with legal counsel, even representation,
if you both so desire.
It
is our goal to build families with the least amount of financial
burden possible. For more information regarding pricing of family

Referral Program:
If you have a completed home study with another agency, you may
certainly still participate in our referral program. You only need
to fill out the on-line registration for us to consider networking
for you.
Once
registration has been accepted, you will send via postal mail five
copies of your Presentation letter (commonly known as Dear Birthparent
letter) (and) one copy of your approved home study and a registration fee of $100.00. We are happy to
assist you in preparing your Presentation letter, should you need
some helpful hints for a more friendly and unique letter.
When
an agency or attorney present situations to us, we determine which
of our registered clients meet what the expectant parents are requesting
and the agency/attorney requirements. You would then be contacted
about the situation and decide whether you want to be submitted.
The agency or attorney will present you with other families to the
expectant parents. If they select your family, you would then work
directly with the agency or attorney that is representing the expectant
parents. Because all agency and attorney contact information is
confidential, we handle all communication with the professional
until you are matched with a situation. You will be matched and
placed through an attorney or agency that is licensed to place children
for adoption. All counseling, finances and legal work will be done
by a licensed agency or adoption attorney.
By
registering with Heaven Sent you are essentially registering with
many agencies and attorneys. Our referral and networking fee is paid in the amount of $1,000.00
to the attorney or agency working with the expectant parents when
the placement is complete and you have a baby in your arms.
Additional
Information:
Because there is such a need for adoptive families for Black American,
Biracial and special needs children, our hearts are in these placements
and it is where we place special focus. We have arrangements with
several attorneys and agencies for Black American and Biracial adoptions
where there are no payments until a child is placed with your family.
There will be times where this is not possible but know it is my
desire to help you in this area.
We also work with state agencies in helping to place their foster
children into adoptive homes. These are children that have been
removed from their biological family. When we get the referral these
children are legally free for adoption and are just waiting for
their family. The fees for these situations are generally under
$2,000.00 and most or all of that expense is reimbursed to the adoptive
family. Because these are state agencies they are not able to collect
a fee for Heaven Sent service. I feel this is a ministry that God
has given this business in helping these children find homes. If
